Hi Fellow Humans,
Beginning with a sort of disclaimer…
The person writing this isn’t a professional anything, just someone hoping for better governance, some day.
This is reduced to be as simple as possible. It’s just ideas to encourage you.
Proceed with the mindset that we come from something less and are growing and learning to become better.
This is about acknowledging our shortcomings. Accepting and correcting our shortcomings. Understanding and improving our shortcomings. This is an appeal for a more Utilitarian shift in global governance.
This will not criticize individual global governments because it seems to be a fact that, in the present, corruption and hypocrisy are rampant throughout all levels and areas of the Earth.
The goal of this brief piece is to promote continued transformation of the various governing orders that exist by encouraging individuals to participate with some simple principles to help avoid corruption and to examine and adapt self in order to generate policies based on shared principles to best utilize and benefit the living and material resources of Earth.
We have all contributed to our own sufferings. We have made it nearly impossible to avoid doing so in one way or another. But we haven’t reached an end yet, and we have proven countless times that we can become better. We must continue to become better. We need to do so with a sense of direction for the future.
~~~~~~~
One of the main fundamentals of this piece is that by no means should we use lethal weapons against other people. This simple point must be agreed upon before anything else can truly make sense. This is not suggesting that people be defenseless when facing aggression. Every capable Human of Earth should be trained and prepared for assaults of all sorts, however we must only use non-lethal means of disabling opponents. Our technologies already grant these means, and they can be expanded upon to be even more effective.
There is warfare that is sometimes necessary because of hostile aggression from others, but with our technological advances we are increasingly able to engage adversaries preemptively and from a distance. However, the goal of our warfare should be to disarm and then to help our adversaries. As a part of this goal, every capable and schooled person should spend a duration of time serving in civil enforcement or a public service role to develop discipline, preparation, and understanding of the realities of their communities.
It is important to focus on maintaining local communities. Desperate and aggressive groups are often formed of people who have the same traits and come from environments that foster hostility from a local level. We have all had aggressive feelings at different times, but it is important to guarantee the training to regulate extreme emotions and let logic govern in extreme situations.
Our method for dealing with aggressors and “criminals” by removing them from the free societies and then packing them with other people who reinforce their problematic traits in confinement, has proven to be ineffective for helping people become better. There needs to be a focus on what reparations are possible for an offender to make, and to endure a period of education and servitude to ensure that similar acts are never again repeated. We’ve all made mistakes, and some lapses in decision making are more consequential than others, but we must be understanding, fair, and focused with all criminal corrections.
There are sometimes instances where criminal offenders are damaged beyond the point of social correction, and in those cases the offending people should be entirely removed from being able to access other people, aside from those who are specifically trained to provide focused care for those different types of individuals who are severely damaged.
We must begin to truly value life. We have become too mentally calloused in so many aspects, partly because we have had to adapt ourselves to the various damaging actions in our reality.
We have recently become too self-absorbed with our use of technologies. We have the opportunities to grow, and we must branch out and perform on what our intellectual progress and technology has achieved. We must perform in whatever ways each one of us is capable.
In many regions there is plenty. In many regions there is excess. We must utilize our opportunities for greater benefits and develop a greater appreciation of our unique position as beings who, for the increasing majority, have access to an incredible amount of helpful information for all sorts on the internets. Every single one of us who is capable of reading this has access to more information and the ability to be more intelligent than the most informed person from only a few decades ago. Unfortunately, some people spread deception for a profit, so finding accurate information is also a process that requires practicing personal judgement.
We must increasingly practice personal judgement and preventative practices when dealing with our own physical and mental health. We have become too reliant on the modern medical systems as methods of treatment when our often-degenerate lifestyles have caused damage to our bodies. There are many situations that absolutely require professional medical care, especially for seniors, emergencies, and people who are chronically unwell, but a lot of us are putting unnecessary strain on our medical systems for problems that could have been preemptively prevented with better food habits and daily practices.
Our gift as Humans is our enhanced capability for creativity and we have different capacities within this regard. We must constantly utilize our creativities to expand and grow upon what exists in our present reality.
Even though we take different paths in different parts of the planet, we must have shared societal goals. The moons of Humanity are a long-term collective vision. No details of how to achieve this vision, but if you look at Humanity over the course of the coming millennia, it makes the most sense for us to mostly depart and conserve and foster whatever remains of the natural order which gave rise to Humanity.
It is easy to have these visions tainted by the worst among us, but we must love them as well and want all to achieve better if we are truly desiring to reach the better versions of Humanity.
We must truly love everyone, even those we hate. Even if we are unloved by others, we must generate love. For some people this comes naturally. For some people this requires a lot of practice and effort.
Not everyone can grow at the same rate. We must be patient and assist those who struggle, sometimes through invisible methods.
We are the ultimate byproduct of Earth’s existence. We have great opportunity to continue our existence of discovery and transformation, but we should never forget or disrespect the multitude of processes that were required for reality to create us. We are undeniably unique.
Global disasters have come before, and global disasters shall come again. Earth and the life it bears have not only managed to survive, but also evolve and learn to become better, as evidenced by the rise of Humanity. We are the product of this planet and every disaster that came before, but we must respect what has taken place. We must continue to respect the natural order of the planet, even as we grow and distance ourselves.
Please, do better.
Change will keep happening here, over time.
House mold (mould) is extremely common and underestimated as a threat to Human health. Many of our homes are constantly damaging us with every breath. Just be aware of that…
I recommend visiting eurekalert or a similar website that curates newly discovered information from professional institutions regularly. It’s important for us to never stop learning, and new information is always being discovered that challenges and often disproves information that is taught in classrooms.
I am insignificant, and so are you. At the same time, we are considerably precious in this reality.
